It is firm, dense and cheddar like in texture. Aged for 6 months, Monte Grappa is straw yellow in colour and with occasional small holes.  Monte Grappa is an excellent table cheese, ideal for grating, melting in a fondue or shaved in sandwiches and salads.  Capriccio Monte Grappa is great enjoyed on its own cut into slices or small cubes and combined with an aperitif or after-dinner with seasonal fruits paired with a glass of red wine or Prosecco and even a little grappa will go down a treat.
