An internationally popular product, rice is low in fat and high in nutritional ingredients and is eaten by more than half of the global population.

Available in two varieties – Arborio and Carnaroli, Arborio being a smaller grain and Carnaroli being a larger fatter grain.

Carnaroli rice is ideal for those with a passion for rice. With its smooth and creamy consistency, it is undoubtedly perfect for your favourite Risotto.

Try these very simple and versatile combination:

    funghi porcini
Grown in the Veneto Region, Funghi Porcini are the king of mushrooms. Their Italian name means "little piglets" which aptly describes their bullbous stalks and rounded brown caps.

Il Bosco Funghi Porcini are selected through a strict procedure by trained and specialised technicians ensuring only the best of the best are packed and distributed. The emphasis is on quality.

Did you know: The best way to reconstitute dried mushrooms is to soak them in hot water for about 20 minutes until soft, then drain and use like fresh mushrooms. Keep the soaking water to use in sauces, stocks or soups, it will have an intense mushroom flavour.

The drying of funghi porcini actually accentuates their flavour and a little goes a long way.
