What does ISO 9002 certification mean to Basile Imports?

The concept of QUALITY ASSURANCE is in all facets of our business: a further guarantee of the quality of products we import and reliability of service we offer...

  1. We have described the way we do things as documented procedures.
  2. We follow these documented procedures.
  3. We verify that what we say we do is actually done by keeping accurate record for a certain period of time.
  4. We demonstrate an understanding of required duties and procedures by completing these records and taking the necessary action.

This is our guarantee that we

  • deal with approved suppliers of both imported and local produce and beverages.
  • These suppliers provide us with product safe for human consumption.
  • We deal with approved suppliers of materials, transport, cleaning, maintenance, company vehicles & pallets.
  • We can offer our customers prompt, reliable service.

Our Quality policy, provides an explanation of our understanding to quality.

 

 

P & T Basile Pty Ltd trading as "BASILE IMPORTS" market and distribute imported produce of first grade quality from Europe to the food and liquor trade in Australia. As a part of our policy to meet and, where possible to exceed our customers' expectations, P & T Basile Pty Ltd and all of our staff are committed to:

  • Meeting customer expectations for quality with exceptional products and value for money working closely with reputable and approved Suppliers
  • Providing at all times only safe food products
  • Meeting customer expectations with prompt, reliable and honest service
  • Always trying to improve our service with delivery, condition of  stock and delivery service, for example respecting delivery times, dispatch areas and other customer needs.
  • Being interested in how customers market and sell our products, making sure that our product meets their needs and their business requirements;
  • Always trying to improve our products in packaging, offering consumers more information the likes of nutritional information, origin, ingredients.
  • Improving all  other aspects of the efficiency and capability of our business;
  • Measuring our performance to use this measurement as a basis of further improvement;
  • Being a responsible employer, to our employees, (e.g., safety), to our customers, (e.g., packaging and safety), and to the community, (e.g., environmental);
  • Offering services to assist the customer  once purchased product in the form of after sales service; i.e. merchandising, in-store demonstrations
  • Acknowledging and Servicing all Customer Complaints promptly
  • We have implemented ISO 9002 with integrated food safety as a system for achieving and exceeding our company objectives and managing quality in our business.
